November 5th (1st Saturday of November) 2011

All proceeds from the Bostwick Cotton Gin Festival go toward the continuing restoration of the Susie Agnes Hotel which now serves as City Hall for the town of Bostwick. The 1st floor of the two story historic building has been completely renovated thanks to the festival, City of Bostwick, and significant contributions. Renovation of the second floor will soon follow.

Gin Run: Starts at 8:00 a.m. on Church Street at the Old School House/Community Center. The race features a 5K run. Prizes will be awared for each age group. (click for more information & application) -- (Download Race Map)

Parade: Starts at 11:00 a.m. All participants must register prior to 10:00 a.m. on the morning of. Pre-registration is welcomed. No entry fee but all participates are asked to register prior to the festival or on the morning of. Absolutely no one will be allowed to enter parade lineup after 10:00 a.m. due to increased participation. Thank you for your commitment in making the Bostwick Cotton Festival a success! Tractors will lineup on Rock Hill Road and all other participants will lineup on Second Street. Please be prepared to take detours on the day of the festival to get to these locations. See map page. Hwy 83 will be closed at Price Mill, Echols, and Wellington. (click for more information & application)

Arts and Crafts/Food Vendors: All participants must feature true hand made art and crafts. Booth fee is $65.00 and the deadline for entry is October 15th. Food vendor fee is $150.00. Guidelines must be followed and booth site presentation is important for consideration. Thank you for your interest in our festival! (click for more information & application)

Parking: Please park in designated areas for safety. The parking fee is $5.00 per car. Hay rides available from parking field to festival. We ask that you do not park in areas roped off as it may interfere with festival operations. Violators will be held responsible for accidents or towing.
